The Carbon Land(es) series was created in response to the wildfires that devastated the Landes region of France in the summer of 2022.

Combining aesthetic rigor with a subdued sense of loss, the works confront destruction without spectacle.

The series bears witness to the forest’s altered state while acknowledging the resilience inherent in natural regeneration.
